Job description
Manufacturing TechnicianThis Manufacturing Technician is responsible for, but not limited to, managing cases for Vulcan Custom Dental and both laboratory and clinical customers. This position shall be responsible for processing daily orders to customer specifications, including but not limited to participation with products and process validations. Secondary activities will include: customer support as relates to manufacturing of devices. Also supports other digital dentistry manufacturing initiatives as established with manager.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Execute strategies to maintain quality and consistency of manufactured productsUse developed machining strategies, fixtures, and tooling for productionCommunicate with management on workflow and capacityEnsures established turnaround times for products are achievedPerform CAM processing of dental protheses per customer specificationsParticipates in CAM production-related qualifications including Installation, Operation, and Process ValidationsWorks with outside suppliers as neededQualifications:Strong computer skills requiredMachining background desired (preferable Haas controls)Must be comfortable in production environment where production quotas are mandatedExperience with working within a Quality System preferredEducation and/or Experience:High school Diploma RequiredDental Lab/medical device experience preferredCNC Machining experience desired (Haas controls preferred)Henry Schein, Inc. is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against applicants or employees on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, national origin, ancestry, disability that can be reasonably accommodated without undue hardship, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, citizenship, marital or veteran status, or any other legally protected status.Please note that any offer of employment made by BioHorizons is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment background investigation to include a pre-employment drug screen.
