You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Security Guard in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Fuel Business Unit. This position requires the selected candidate to be available to work shift work to include weekends and holidays must be able to rotate shifts day and nights. Must be available to work overtime and report for duty on short call notices. Framatome Security responds to all security situations per NRC regulations, standing orders, and security procedures. Security is the emergency notification authority by contacting emergency dispatch, plant emergency personnel, and acts as call back contact for regulatory agencies. Security is the stewards of the company property. Your work will include:Perform security foot/vehicle patrols of buildings, perimeter fences/barriers, and inspections of packages/bagsControl property exiting the facilities by assuring completion of proper passesEnforce regulations regarding the safeguards of proprietary and classified informationPerform inspections of vehicles entering or leaving premises monitors activities outside the perimeter area by usage of surveillance equipment or physical patrolAssure all employees, visitors, and customers observe security rules and regulationsMaintain the security database and ensures proper operation of the access control system; responsible for issuing badges to company personnel and contracted vendorsAssist emergency team members as directed and performs duties as traffic control coordinator during emergenciesPerform person and package searches (employee and non-employee)Must play an active role in creating a safe and healthy workplace, aid in the observation of others compliance with safety rules and comply with all applicable health and safety rules.Together we will enable clean, safe, and economical low-carbon energy to meet the global ambition for a better tomorrow.Who We AreFramatome is an international leader in nuclear energy recognized for its innovative solutions and value-added technologies for the global nuclear fleet. Any employment offer is contingent upon the successful completion of a background investigation.Your Total Rewards PackageThe range of base salary for the position is between $21.10 - $27.60 per hour, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits.
