Manufacturing TechnicianInterested in joining our Manufacturing team? At Waters, the Manufacturing Technician position is a great opportunity for an electro-mechanical technician to join a world class analytical instrument manufacturer. The work environment is inclusive, team oriented and the customer is always our first priority.ResponsibilitiesAssembles/Tests a wide variety of instruments, kits, and accessory itemsPerform peer auditsTroubleshoots and repairs sub-assemblies and instrumentsFollows all procedures and processesParticipates in Lean process improvement programsQualificationsMust be able to read blueprints, follow written procedures and drawings, and verbal instructionsAbility to use hand tools (i.e. screwdrivers, wrenches), power tools (i.e. nut driver), and electronic test devices to assemble and conduct preliminary tests on small assembliesMust be able to work interdependently in team settings to accomplish goalsThe individual must be able to handle multiple assignments, draw from past experiences, skills, and knowledge to assemble and resolve problemsA general knowledge of PC/Computers is a requirementCompany DescriptionWaters Corporation (NYSE:WAT) is a global leader in life sciences and diagnostics, dedicated to accelerating the benefits of pioneering science through analytical technologies, informatics, and service.
