Manufacturing TechnicianThe Manufacturing Technician performs moderate to complex assembly functions using mechanical skills, a variety of hand tools, and assembly fixtures. The role involves producing and inspecting assemblies to ensure conformance to product specifications, adhering fully to the established Quality System, and understanding Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Complete documentation of all assembly and test processes is essential.ResponsibilitiesPerform moderate to complex assembly functions utilizing mechanical skills and a variety of hand tools and assembly fixtures.Produce and inspect assemblies to ensure they meet product specifications.Adhere fully to the established Quality System and understand GMP.Document all assembly and test processes performed.Interpret and understand engineering drawings and follow assembly instructions and company procedures.Essential Skills1-4 years of experience in the assembly of electromechanical or electro pneumatical systems or equivalent experience in a medical device or aerospace manufacturing environment.Experience with electromechanical assembly and troubleshooting.Ability to use hand tools and basic computer applications, including MS Word and MS Excel.Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain orderly work cells.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a medical device or regulated industry.Ability to interpret and understand engineering drawings.Knowledge of blueprint reading and torque application.Work EnvironmentOur work environment is supportive and collaborative, with a family-oriented culture. The role is based on the production/manufacturing floor, with hours from Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with overtime as needed. Employees are cross-trained across three production lines with several stations, each equipped with a touchscreen. This is a long-term, direct hire opportunity with the chance to be involved in products that improve and save lives.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
