Manufacturing TechnicianLocation: Pittsburg CA, 94565Duration: 06+ MonthsPay: $25.00/hr – $30.00/hr on W2 without benefitsSummary: Pay rate: $25 start, $30 max if previous work history in warehouse Experience: No experience required, previous warehouse work will helpTop 5 must-have skills:Ability to follow instructionsResponsiblePunctualEager to learnSome computer skillsNice-to-have skills:Hand and Power Tools experienceSafety orientedPrimary Job Duties: Packaging of completed product, stacking of assembling parts and packing material The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for performing technical duties in one of the functional areas: electronic, mechanical or systems. The Manufacturing Technician complete tests, measurements, operations and process controls.* Perform technical duties on functional work group projects.* Employ test techniques and procedures for key cell projects.* Use job packets, routings, work orders, wire lists, quality travelers and bills of material.* Maintain production tools and equipment.* Perform troubleshooting to diagnose product, process or program defects and repair them.* Ensure ability to: read blueprints; identify components; perform wire preparation, stripping and crimping; perform harness repair and termination; use pertinent manual hand tools. Maintain skills in electronics, hydraulics and mechanical assemblies, automated machine operation and programming.* Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.Certifications: Forklift certification preferred, but not requiredSchedule: Standard 7am to 4pm with OT required when needed Occasional night shift supportTraining: NEST training in Kellyville, OKInterviews: 1:1 onsite interviews
