Manufacturing TechnicianExperience Level: Support Job Type: Regular Location: Richardson, TX, US, 75080Qorvo supplies innovative semiconductor solutions that make a better world possible. Qorvo serves multiple high-growth segments of large global markets, including consumer electronics, smart home/IoT, automotive, EVs, battery-powered appliances, network infrastructure, healthcare and aerospace/defense.RESPONSIBILITIES:Work closely with the operations and engineering teams to perform product dispositions, process improvements, monitor statistical process controls, and update specifications.Diagnose and resolve process problems by following documented procedures.Set-up and qualify assembly process equipmentReview and respond to quality issuesCoach, train, and assist factory operators in order to enhance productivity.Identify and address potential areas for improvement relating to safety, quality, output, and cost.QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or GED required, Associates degree or above in a STEM discipline is preferred.1+ years of experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing facility is preferred.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with operations, equipment support, and engineering in a dynamic, team-based environment.Possess an understanding of DoE, SPC, and other statistical tools/methods.This factory position requires wearing cleanroom attire and protective equipment; Bending, twisting, lifting up to 25 pounds, and standing for extended periods of time during a 12 hour shift will be required.
