Manufacturing Technician

Contract-to-hire | Eagan, MN | $18–$26/hour (DOE)

4-day work week (Mon–Thurs, 7:00 am – 5:30 pm)

We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support production operations in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with room for growth and hands-on training.

Responsibilities:

Operate standard shop equipment (chop saw, drill press, grinder, etc.)

Perform general assembly and machine operation tasks

Read and follow shop drawings and work instructions (training provided)

Conduct basic in-process measurements and quality checks

Assist with routine equipment maintenance

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Support material handling, including forklift operation (training available)

Prepare finished goods for shipment (counting, packing, palletizing, wrapping)

Assist with additional shop and production tasks as needed

Qualifications:

Some experience in manufacturing, production, or an industrial environment

Ability to use basic hand and power tools

Comfortable standing or sitting for extended periods

Ability to lift to 40 lbs

Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

Good communication skills and ability to work well on a team

Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision

Electrical or wiring experience is a plus
