Job TitleThe duties of this position include:Working under the general supervision of the engineer on watch.Oiling and greasing all machinery.Monitoring all machinery on regular rounds.Checking bilges and operating bilge pumps.Operating manifold switch oil level from one tank to another.Assisting in making repairs to diesel engines.Conducting routine maintenance of diesel propulsion system, pumping and auxiliary systems, ventilation controls, auxiliary engines, automatic control consoles, sanitary and lubrication systems.
