nDescription
nGENERAL SUMMARY: Provide support to the US Navy
nLOCATION: Pearl Harbor, HI
nPRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
nnProficient in ability to install, troubleshoot, and repair ship machinery such as, auxiliary motors, pumps, valves, launchers, ventilation equipment, steering gear, evaporators, heaters, pumps, condensers. Able to read & understand blue print layout, assembly and installation required.
n nREQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
nnnProspective employees should have a minimum of 6 years' experience as a Mechanic.
n
nnExperience working in a shipyard/ship repair environment
n
nnProspective employees must be a US Citizen with a Clean Background and able to pass a Drug Screen
n
nnExperience working on all classes of ships (CVN, CG, DDG, SSN). Able to hold and maintain a security clearance a plus.
n
nnHonolulu, HI residents preferred
n
nnExperience working in a shipyard/ship repair environment
n
nnHigh school diploma or GED equivalence
n
nnAbility to obtain DBIDS is required
n
nn.

n nWage Range: $27.00-$44.80
nIn determining compensation, various factors will be considered, including but not limited to, educational background; relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, market factors; and geographic location.
