nJob Summary
nInstalls and repairs wiring and electrical fixtures.
nGeneral Accountabilities
nInstalls 12v wiring into new boats.
nMeasures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles, and installs electrical components.
nSplices wires by stripping insulation from terminal leads, twisting or soldering wires together, and applying tape or terminal caps.
nInstalls control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels.
nConnects power cables to equipment.
nTests continuity to ensure electrical compatibility and of components.
nObserves functioning of installed equipment or system to detect need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.
nRepairs faulty equipment or systems.

nJob Qualifications
nEducation: Experience with 12v wiring required
nExperience: 1-2 years of related experience preferred
