Benfield Marine is a growing, family-owned marine service company looking for a motivated Marine Technician to join our team. We specialize in mobile and in-shop boat repair, maintenance, and fiberglass services across Middle Tennessee.

nPay: Competitive, based on experience and skill level
nResponsibilities n
n Diagnose and repair marine engines and systems (inboard, outboard, sterndrive)
n Use diagnostic tools/software to troubleshoot engine and electrical issues
n Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, impellers, lower unit service, battery testing, winterization)
n Conduct full-system inspections (electrical, fuel, steering, propulsion)
n Complete service documentation accurately and follow shop procedures
n Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly with customers
n Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
n nQualifications n
n Strong mechanical aptitude (marine experience , but not required)
n Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems
n Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
n Dependable with a solid work ethic
n Good communication and customer service skills
n Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n Valid driver’s license (for mobile service calls)
