nKC Boat Doctor is seeking a skilled and motivated Marine Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a mechanical background who enjoys hands-on work and wants to build a career in the marine industry. Experience levels may vary, and candidates with a strong mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply.
nKey Responsibilities
nnDiagnose, service, and repair marine engines and propulsion systems
nPerform electrical and mechanical repairs on boats and marine equipment
nConduct maintenance, troubleshooting, and system diagnostics
nAssist with new boat rigging and warranty work
nSupport operations in a full-service marine repair facility
nMaintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition
n nRequirements
nnMinimum 1 year of mechanical experience
nAbility to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems
nStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
nAbility to work independently and as part of a team
nReliable, motivated, and willing to learn new skills
n n Qualifications
nnMarine technician or boat repair experience ( but not required)
nFamiliarity with marine engines, electrical systems, and propulsion systems
