We are seeking a dynamic Market General Manager to take full ownership of our local distributorship. In this role, you’ll lead daily operations, manage financial strategy, inspire a high-performing team, and build long-lasting customer relationships across the region.
Key Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven leadership or managerial experience.
Skillset: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) with exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
Mindset: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and naturally driven to achieve practical results.
Licensing: Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior leadership in a warehouse, distribution, or automotive environment.
Deep understanding of battery systems or automotive supply chains.
Leadership Competencies
Entrepreneurial Spirit: Skilled at identifying profitable opportunities and taking calculated risks to hit business targets.
Relational Awareness: Empathetic, proactive, and responsive to both customer and employee needs.
Accountability & Initiative: Takes fast action without needing to be asked, holding themselves and their team to high standards.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Fast-paced environment mixing administrative office work with active warehouse engagement.
Ability to occasionally lift/move up to 50+ lbs and work safely around moving equipment or battery warehouse conditions.
Prolonged periods of computer/telephone use and motor vehicle operation.
Responsibilities
Lead & Grow the Business: Take full ownership of the P&L, budget performance, and inventory levels. Drive revenue growth through target market penetration, sales acquisition, and proactive accounts receivable management.
Champion the Customer: Build deep relationships with key account decision-makers, resolve customer inquiries promptly, and use market data to capitalize on new opportunities and counter competition.
Develop a Winning Team: Hire, coach, and mentor local staff. Foster an environment of continuous learning, clear accountability, alignment, and deserved recognition.
Streamline Operations: Ensure safe, compliant, and highly efficient warehouse and routing operations while continuously improving processes and data integrity.
