Marketing Ambassador - Groupr - New York
Events & Promotion
Talk with your Bronx neighbors, door to door and at our tables, about something really good: groceries at store prices with free delivery. $20 an hour plus bonuses, paid every single Friday. In person, not online. Groupr delivers groceries across the Bronx at the same prices as the store, with free delivery. Customers can pay with SNAP/EBT and can schedule an order for the day their benefits arrive. Most people have never heard of us. As a Marketing Ambassador, you're how they find out.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You'll work Bronx neighborhoods on foot: knocking on doors, talking with people in building lobbies, and running our tables near subway stops and supermarkets. You'll tell people what Groupr is, answer their questions, and help anyone who's interested sign up and schedule their first order on their phone. This isn't a hard sell. You're sharing something that saves your neighbors time and money. We set clear daily goals and tell you exactly what they are.
PAY AND SCHEDULE
$20.00 per hour, plus bonuses when your neighbors order (the bonus details are covered at training). You're paid every Friday for the week before. Your hourly pay is guaranteed and never depends on hitting a goal.
Shifts: 11am–2pm and 4pm–7pm in Bronx neighborhoods. You report straight to your assigned spot.
Paid training ($40): a live video call (your phone works). The next session date will be announced, so apply now to hold a spot.
October field days run through the first three weeks of the month.
For your first two shifts you work alongside one of our experienced leads.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Required:
You like talking to people, including people you've never met
On time, every time
A smartphone you keep charged and on during your shift
A plus:
You speak Spanish
You've done promotions, brand ambassador or sampling work, retail, customer service, door-to-door, or any job talking to people all day
You live in or know the Bronx
