Job description

Strategic Analyst, Consumer Insights - Marketplace Partnership

At Front Row, we partner with leading brands to accelerate their ecommerce growth. We leverage our capabilities and proprietary technology to design, market, distribute and accelerate brands on a global scale. We’re continually cultivating functional areas of expertise and retaining the highest caliber of talent — while sharing knowledge and data, creating efficiencies, and looking at every aspect of our client’s business from a 360 perspective. We work effectively to give every client the hands‑on support, niche knowledge, and first‑access they need to win in the world’s most competitive commerce markets and make each of our six capabilities the first to act on the next big things.

We live for the exchange of energy between brands and audiences, you should too, and we’ve made it our mission to expand every brand’s market share and heart share. Because we believe every transaction has the potential to be transformational.

We leverage data‑driven insights from Catapult, our proprietary technology, and our deep understanding of marketplaces like Amazon, Walmart.com , TikTok Shop, to craft strategies unique to each brand we work with while protecting their pricing and channel strategies at every lifecycle stage and in any global market.

Intro:

As part of Front Row’s Insights team, you will turn complex data into clear, strategic narratives that guide business decisions for leading brands across beauty, wellness, and CPG verticals. We ingest multiple data sources to identify emerging consumer and industry trends, and translate those learnings into actionable strategic recommendations for brands. We blend analytical rigor with creative storytelling, translating consumer, culture, and commerce data to keep our brands head of the curve.

Description:

Analyze Amazon sales and search data to uncover performance drivers and shopper patterns.

Use secondary consumer data to contextualize behaviors observed on Amazon.

Use these learnings to answer core business questions for brands, such as:

Who is our consumer?

How are they behaving in e-commerce environments? How are they engaging with brands across ecommerce channels?

What industry and cultural forces are shaping these behaviors?

Translate findings into clear, compelling stories that guide brand strategy.

Own quarterly reporting for our VMS (vitamin, minerals, and supplements) and CPG brands.

Requirements:

Data reporting: 2-4 years of experience working with quantitative and qualitative datasets. Demonstrated ability to merge multiple sources of data into a single, cohesive narrative.

PowerPoint / Google Slides: Create polished, visually engaging decks that distill data into impactful insights.

Excel / Google Sheets: Confident with formulas, functions, and basic data manipulation.

Analytical curiosity: You’re inquisitive and naturally dig into data that looks off or interesting.

Strategic thinking: You can connect the dots between consumer behavior, category trends, and business outcomes.

Strong communicator: Clear, articulate, and confident in both writing and presenting.

Accountability: Own projects from start to finish, managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Collaborative mindset: Thrive in a small, scrappy, high-performing team; willing to pitch in and help wherever needed.

Innovative problem‑solver: Not afraid to challenge assumptions or bring new ideas to the table.

Cultural awareness: Passionate about understanding people — their motivations, values, and how they show up in data.

Vitamins, Minerals & Supplements / Health & Wellness experience a plus.
