Job TitleShielding Surfaces of PartsReports To: Department SupervisorLocation: Lynwood, CAType: Temp to hire roleSchedule: 6:00am - 2:30pmPositions Available: 2Job Summary: Responsible for shielding the surfaces of parts that do not require processing. Process parts according to shop work order and applicable specifications and drawings. Follow instructions from supervisor pertaining to specific instructions or tasks. Ensure integrity of incoming parts (damage, scratches, etc.). Complete work order and all necessary paperwork according to job, drawings and specifications. Manage hazardous materials safely and in accordance with state and federal regulations. Perform other duties as required.Skills & AbilitiesEducation: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): RequiredOther Physical RequirementsVision (Near, Distance) Sense of Sound - Able to hear average conversations Sense of Touch Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - Safety Glasses Standing for long periods of timeBenefits: Compensation Range $18.50 - $19.60 (DOE)Valence Surface Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
