Mason PositionExpress Employment has partnered with a local company in Dubuque, IA, to search for an experienced mason. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in masonry work and will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures made of brick, block, and stone.Key ResponsibilitiesConstruct and repair structures made of brick, block, and stone.Read and interpret blueprints and plans.Mix mortar and grout, and spread it onto a slab or foundation.Lay bricks, blocks, or stones according to plans.Ensure the structural integrity and aesthetics of the masonry work.Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time.Qualifications3-5 years of experience in masonry work.Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans.Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor.Good communication and teamwork skills.
