Experienced Mason OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced mason for a full-time, permanent opportunity with an established contractor specializing in historic restoration and preservation projects throughout Connecticut and New England.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled mason who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and wants to work on unique historic and architecturally significant buildings.What You'll Be DoingPerform brick, block, and stone masonry workRepair and restore existing historic masonryRepoint brick and stone using appropriate techniquesRemove and replace deteriorated masonry materialsMatch existing brick, stone, mortar, and finishesPerform masonry repairs on walls, foundations, chimneys, facades, and other structuresMix and apply mortar while maintaining proper joint profilesWork carefully around existing historic materials and architectural featuresComplete both interior and exterior masonry restorationWhat We're Looking For5+ years of professional masonry experience preferredStrong experience with brick, block, stone, and mortarExperience with restoration, repointing, or historic masonry is highly preferredAbility to match existing masonry and produce clean, detailed workKnowledge of traditional masonry techniques is a plusComfortable working independently and as part of a crewOSHA 10 preferredReliable transportation and ability to travel to project sites as neededPosition DetailsPay: $30–$40/hour, based on experienceFull-time, permanent positionMiddletown, CT basedLong-term career opportunityBenefits availableIf you're an experienced mason who takes pride in craftsmanship and is interested in working on unique restoration projects throughout New England, apply today!
