Licensed Massage TherapistJob Description An Aspira Spa Massage Therapist administers professional massage and body treatments to our guests. They must have a thorough knowledge of numerous massage modalities, possess a general understanding of body treatments and be willing to train in our spa's specific massage and body treatment offerings. They must possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness solutions to meet the needs of our guests.Full-time, part-time, and casual positions available! Tuition reimbursement available! Full-time team members are eligible for health, dental, and vision insurance, 401k plus company match, paid vacation, and more!Duties and ResponsibilitiesBe on time for your shift, prompt with each appointment and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the serviceProvide consistent professional massage and body treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practicesEffectively inform and educate our guests about specific wellness concernsBe flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of the spaProperly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controlsHave complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offeredUphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa's policies and proceduresPerform prep work, properly clean and restock room as requiredCommunicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attentionActively promote the spa, treatments, services and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts availableHandle guests' questions and concerns professionally and courteouslyProvide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guestsRegularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spaAssist in all areas of spa operation as requested by managementBe willing to help fill in as needed to ensure guests' needs are being metMaintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel dataAll other duties as assignedQualificationsMust hold a WI Massage Practitioner licensePrevious experience providing a multitude of modalities in Massage Therapy a plusMust have excellent time management and customer service skillsPossess the ability to work without direct supervisionMaintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environmentMust have great communication ability to talk with guests, recommend home care products, and ensure guests have been told about all Aspira Spa offerings and amenitiesMust be a team player-ability and willingness to help and assist your teammates when neededProfessional, polished appearanceMust have availability to work weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the spaWhy Work at the Osthoff Resort?At The Osthoff Resort & Spa, we believe exceptional guest experiences start with an exceptional team.
