Massage/Stretch TherapistWe are seeking highly motivated and dynamic Massage/Stretch Therapist to join our FAIRHOPE team! The ideal candidate will have a love for boutique wellness with a passion for helping people move better and feel better throughout their day! If an energetic, friendly, growth oriented environment where the focus is on building relationships with potential and existing clients and delivering best in class client care speaks to you, we want you on our team!Qualifications:Love of boutique wellness environment is a must – passion and belief in the importance of stretching, mobility and flexibility for quality of lifeMust have completed Degree/License/Certification and experience working in a fitness/health environmentPreferred backgrounds: Massage Therapist, Athletic Trainer, Physical Therapist Assistant, Exercise Science/Kinesiology DegreeAbility to create a positive, welcoming environment for clientsStrong verbal and written communication skillsSolid ability to build relationships with clientele and have passion for helping them achieve goalsMust be dependable, team player, coachable, detail oriented and have a strong desire for continued learning and growthMust have a professional work ethic, be reliable and adhere to studio and attendance policies**Must be available to complete our Flexologist Training Program which includes 20 hours of online tutorials, exam, 2 days of in-person/hands-on training and practice hours**Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Deliver 1:1, assessment and customized assisted stretch sessionsEducate clients on stretching techniques & mobility throughout the session and provide appropriate stretches for homework in between sessionsEncourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessionComplete individual session notes, ensure program progression through clear understanding of stretch techniques, PNF/periodization stretch principles, and monthly movement assessment (MAPS)Build StretchLab membership with thoughtful membership recommendations and retain current clientele through delivering best in class stretch experienceMaximize client utilization of sessions/membership by booking follow up appointments and member outreachEnsure client safety by using proper stretch techniques and enforce StretchLab policies and safety rulesClean and maintain all equipment in order to ensure it is available for client use at any given timeAttend staff meetings and complete required continuing educational presentationsAssist sales associates and General Manager with studio tour and sales as neededAttend offsite pop-up events throughout the communityParticipate regularly in studio content creation for social mediaJob Types: Part-time (20 hours)Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hourPerks:Motivating, upbeat & collaborative environmentHourly, bonus and commission payAccess to cutting edge technology, recovery tools & techniquesPaid Training and Continuing EducationGrowth/Leadership opportunities with a multi-unit ownerAvailability:Morning (8am-1pm) and evening (2-6:30pm) shifts Monday - Thursday, Friday/Saturday 8-12pm (must rotate one Saturday per month)This is an amazing opportunity to gain experience in a new modality that is taking the fitness industry by storm.About Us:StretchLab is the industry leader in offering one-on-one assisted stretching.
