We are hiring a Massage Therapist to join our team of independent contractors at Vault 240 in Hawley, PA.The Massage Therapist is responsible for administering massage and other treatments to guests at the spa. This is 1099 employment.Responsibilities:Administer massage and other body treatments to Vault 240 guestsPrepare massage equipment and supplies daily as directed and needed for treatmentsMaintain supply and treatment areasEnsure a pleasant visit for each guest and maintain effective guest relationsBe a patient, courteous listener, and practice discretionBe knowledgeable about all spa and resort/company programs and informationMaintain the cleanliness and neatness of the massage and body treatment areas and spa facilitiesReport for scheduled massages promptly and be prepared for workWork cooperatively and professionally with all departmentsRequirements:Qualifications:Current certification from accredited massage school, state license and or national certification.High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.One year experience providing massage services in a high-end salon or luxury spa environment preferred.Friendly attitude.High energy.Sense of honesty and integrity.Customer service driven.Reliable team member.Able to lift, carry, pull, push up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodations.Able to work some weekends, holidays and evenings, and have a flexible schedule.
