Massage TherapistMend Spa, is a wellness studio specializing in bio-optimized holistic therapies leveraging a fusion of advanced technologies and intentional body work.Job SummaryWe are seeking a licensed Massage Therapist to join our new wellness spa. As a Massage Therapist, you will tailor massage treatments to your patient's individual needs and health goals. The successful candidate will be proactive, goal, sales and action oriented, knowledgeable in a variety of massage styles, possess a deep knowledge of human anatomy and the musculoskeletal system, and work well as part of a new and growing holistic wellness team.ResponsibilitiesAssist with developing, testing and enhancing body work protocolsPerform a variety of massage and body treatmentsEducate clients on the services and products offered as well as the therapeutic benefits of regular massage therapyMaintain accurate records of each sessionSchedule, confirm, and cancel appointmentsBuild relationships with clients to assist them with meeting their wellness goalsEnsure a clean and safe facilityComplying with all applicable standards, rules, and regulations.QualificationsHold current state license and liability insurance to practice massage therapyCapable of performing deep tissue, Swedish, lymphatic drainage, pain relief, and maternity massage modalitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrongly service oriented with an ability to communicate effectively with clients in a one-on-one settingHigh level of ethics and integrity.A passion for helping people look and feel their best.Dual Esthetics license is a plus but not a requiredBenefits/PerksBase Salary plus 100% tips (Guaranteed first 30 days)Profit sharing plus 100% tips (Percentage of services completed)Flexible ScheduleGreat work-life balanceOngoing trainingEmployee DiscountCompensation: $15.00 - $25.00 per hourBrand MissionOur mission is to inspire every body, mind and spirit through simple warmth, lasting service and earthly care.
