Massage Therapist - Part TimeThe Spa at Fearrington is seeking a skilled, warm and service-oriented part-time Massage Therapist to join our team. This position is ideal for a licensed professional who is passionate about wellness, attentive to individual guest needs and committed to providing an exceptional spa experience.Our Massage Therapists deliver thoughtful, personalized treatments in a peaceful and welcoming environment while maintaining the high standards of care and hospitality for which Fearrington Village is known.Responsibilities include:Provide professional massage and body treatments tailored to each guest's needs and preferencesConsult with guests before treatments to identify concerns, contraindications and desired outcomesMaintain a calm, welcoming and professional treatment environmentPrepare treatment rooms and ensure they remain clean, organized and fully stockedFollow all sanitation, safety and spa protocolsMaintain accurate guest treatment notes and protect guest confidentialityEducate guests about appropriate aftercare, wellness practices and relevant spa products or servicesCommunicate effectively with spa reception and fellow team members to ensure a seamless guest experienceArrive prepared and on time for all scheduled appointments, meetings and training sessionsAssist with light departmental duties as neededQualifications include:Current North Carolina massage and bodywork therapy license in good standingProfessional liability insurancePrevious experience in a luxury spa, resort or hospitality environment is preferredKnowledge of multiple massage modalities and the ability to customize treatmentsWarm, polished and professional demeanorExcellent communication and guest-service skillsDependable, organized and attentive to detailAbility to maintain appropriate professional boundaries and guest confidentialityAbility to stand for extended periods and perform the physical requirements of massage therapySchedule:This is a part-time position. Weekend availability is required, including Friday, Saturday and Sundays. Availability on holidays and during peak seasonal periods is strongly preferred.The Spa at Fearrington offers a beautiful working environment, a supportive team and the opportunity to provide restorative experiences for local guests and visitors to Fearrington Village.
