Job TitleMassage TherapistJob DescriptionAs a Massage Therapist, you would play a vital role in providing individualized music interventions that support emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being for patients and their families. Through your talent, compassion, and collaborative approach, you'll create moments of peace, presence, and comfort for those navigating hospice care. You'll work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure that care plans are personalized, meaningful, and rooted in dignity.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide consistent, professional massage and body treatments in accordance with Hospice protocols and accepted certification practicesHandle patient questions and concerns professionally and courteouslyMaintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environmentThoroughly chart all visits through Homecare HomebaseCommunicate schedules with patient's familiesCreate a consistent schedule of visits for each patientCommunicates with the rest of the care team on each patient's conditionHospice Massage Therapist RequirementsIndependent Massage License requiredA minimum of 3 years of therapeutic massage requiredAbility to provide proof of Professional Liability InsuranceCollege Degree PreferredMBLEX Completion PreferredExperience in health care or hospice setting preferredExperience with geriatric population preferredAbility to accept different lifestyles, cultures, beliefs, and valuesProficiency with computersPossesses and maintains current CPR certification.Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state/or organization requirements and is in good working order.Additional DetailsEmployment Type: Hourly, non-exemptDepartment: Ancillary ServicesLeadership Received: Manager of Life EnrichmentDivision: HospiceTravel Requirements: YesThis role does not include supervisory responsibilities.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
