AquaVie Fitness & Wellness Club Massage TherapistAt AquaVie Fitness & Wellness Club, we believe wellness starts with helping people feel their best. As a Massage Therapist, you will play an essential role in creating personalized wellness experiences for our members and guests through professional massage therapy and body treatments in a luxury spa environment. We are looking for a passionate and skilled Massage Therapist who is dedicated to delivering exceptional service, creating a comfortable and relaxing experience, and providing treatments that support each guest's individual wellness goals.Every service is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a guest's wellness journey. Your responsibilities will include:Providing professional massage therapy and body treatments in accordance with AquaVie Spa protocols and California Massage Therapy Council (CAMTC) requirementsGreeting guests promptly, ensuring a welcoming experience, and performing treatments within the appropriate service time allottedPreparing treatment rooms according to spa standards, including cleaning, sanitizing, restocking, and completing assigned side work dutiesPerforming massage and body treatments using safe, professional techniques while ensuring guest comfort, proper draping, and discretion at all timesMaintaining thorough knowledge of all spa treatments, including indications, contraindications, and treatment protocolsEducating guests on spa services, wellness offerings, and recommended retail products for continued home careProperly caring for equipment, maintaining treatment areas, and reporting any maintenance concerns promptlyFollowing product usage guidelines and treatment protocols to support quality service and cost controlMaintaining a professional appearance and demeanor in alignment with AquaVie grooming standardsMaintaining knowledge of professional products, ingredients, and contraindicationsAttending required team meetings, trainings, and ongoing education opportunitiesFollowing safety procedures, participating in safety programs, and completing injury reporting requirements as neededCommunicating any guest or team member concerns to management in a timely and professional mannerHandling guest concerns with professionalism, courtesy, and a solutions-focused approachSupporting overall spa operations and assisting with additional duties as requested by managementMaintaining schedule flexibility to support the variable demand for massage servicesWhat we're looking for:Current certification through the California Massage Therapy Council (CAMTC) requiredThorough knowledge of various massage modalities and body treatmentsAbility to provide personalized wellness experiences based on guest needsStrong communication skills and a guest-focused mindsetAbility to maintain discretion and confidentiality of guest and hotel informationAbility to remain calm and professional under pressureAbility to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environmentFriendly, professional, and service-oriented approachBasic computer knowledgeWhat you bring to the team:A passion for wellness and helping others feel their bestCommitment to delivering exceptional service and creating memorable guest experiencesStrong attention to detail and dedication to maintaining AquaVie Spa standardsAbility to build trust and comfort with guests through professionalism and carePositive attitude and willingness to support the overall spa teamBenefits & perks:Medical, dental, vision, and voluntary benefits401(k) retirement planWellness and employee assistance programPerkSpot employee discount programHotel stay discountsEmployee mealsAquaVie fitness & spa membership discountTraining and career growth opportunitiesDiscounts at Grand America Hotels & Resorts propertiesConvenient access to trolley station and downtown bus routesOur culture:At AquaVie, we believe wellness starts with how we care for our guests and each other.
