Massage TherapistSanta Cruz Hotel LP - Santa Cruz, CA 95060OverviewPosition Type Full-Time/Part-Time Job Shift Any Travel Percentage NoneDescriptionPosition: Massage TherapistReports To: Spa Manager & Hotel General ManagerRequirements:Licensed in Massage Therapy with CAMTC CertificationSubmittal of CAMTC certificate and application approval to the Santa Cruz Police Department before employment beginsMust show proof of self-liability InsuranceProven experience working as a Spa TherapistSound knowledge of anatomy, physiology and different massage typesThe ability to stand for extended periods of timePatience, professionalism and respect for Spa guestsExceptional customer service skillsGeneral Responsibilities:Perform multiple types of massages, beauty treatments, and wellness therapies.Maintain detailed records of massages, treatments, and therapies performed on each spa guest.Communicate with guests during massages to adjust massage techniques as required.Resolve guest complaints and report any accidents to the Spa Manager & Director of HR.Clean and sanitize work areas, changing treatment room sheets, and sterilizing all instruments and equipment before and after each use.Follow all COVID19 related sterilization and sanitation requirements prior to each treatment in accordance with federal, state and local laws.Explain massages, treatments, and therapies to guests and provide suitable recommendations as needed.Ensure that the spa is adequately stocked with spa supplies and report shortages to the Spa Manager.Enquire about guests' medical conditions and allergies before providing spa services.Follow all policies and procedures outlined by Lotus Management Inc.QualificationsThis job description is intended to provide an overview of the requirements of the position.
