Job description
Massage TherapistWe are seeking a Massage Therapist who can provide our guests with authentic, soothing massages using organic or wild-crafted ingredients blended exclusively for Cavallo Point. Candidates must have the skills needed to perform 60-and 90-minute comprehensive Swedish and deep tissue massages, using professional draping techniques.Essential Work Skills:Complies with Spa Treatment Department policies.Complies with Spa Treatment Department operational proceduresSets up and breaks down assigned massage room; maintains neat and well-stocked roomCompletes and submits necessary paperwork, checks mailbox and reads posted notices on bulletin boardAttends monthly departmental meetings and workshops as directedInteracts cooperatively and with consideration towards guests and co-workersExercises dependability and willingness to work with schedule flexibilityMaintains physical fitnessPerforms other job-related duties as directed.Adheres to Cavallo Point standards for guest service.Refers guest problems or complaints to supervisor according to Cavallo Point guest problem resolution policy.Maintain and follow high safety standards and personal conductFollow Company policies and procedures as established in the Employee HandbookComply with the attendance policy and specially meal breaks and rest breaks, reporting any discrepancies to managementEmbrace Cavallo Point Approachable Luxury Philosophy and Values, creating legendary memories with passion.Minimum Education and Physical Requirements:Minimum of 500 hours of massage training from an accredited massage schoolMust have a valid massage therapist licenseMust possess a cooperative and positive attitude, exercising reasonMust have completed course in anatomy and physiology from an accredited school, preferably massage schoolMust be able to perform 60–90-minute comprehensive Swedish massage, using professional draping techniques; additional knowledge of other techniques is preferable.Must be able to interact professionally and with sensitivity to the needs of the guests and co-workersMust be dependable and able to adjust to schedule changes, including cancellations and additions.Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed
