Job description
Materials Associate Lead – Wilson, NC
Position type: Onsite. Role requires U.S. Person eligibility. Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:30pm – 12:00am (overtime may be required). Training will be on first shift (7am – 3:30pm).
What You Will Do
Execute lead position in stockroom cell by understanding and enforcing strict adherence to material handling practices and assigned daily tasks.
Maintain and report daily goals and metrics including throughput, accuracy, and 5S.
Train personnel on material handling practices.
Identify process flow bottlenecks and escalate.
Manage turnback via tracking tool.
Support team by picking material for work order or sales order fulfillment.
Qualifications You Must Have
High school diploma (or equivalent, e.g., GED) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline, with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
Prior stockroom experience.
Qualifications We Prefer
Prior logistics experience and/or prior experience with SAP or similar ERP system.
Proper label application, paperwork preparation, and shipment packing.
Intermediate computer skills in typing, navigating screens, and learning new software programs.
Prior forklift driving experience.
