Material Control ClerkType: 6-month contract with opportunity for extensions Compensation: $21 - $24 per hour Work Model: Onsite Hours: 40.0 hours per week System One is seeking a Material Control Clerk for a 6-month contract opportunity with potential for extensions located in Pooler, GA. This is an entry level position that requires basic warehouse and computer knowledge.ResponsibilitiesDemonstrates core competencies: action oriented, change champion, customer-focused, developing self & others, and ownershipSafe operation of forklift, pallet jacks, and extended liftsCompleting daily forklift checklist to verify equipment is in proper working orderRequesting maintenance orders for mechanical or electrical defects and removing equipment from operationUnloading, unpacking, and verifying materials received from suppliers against packing list and verifying customer return materials (serial numbers & part numbers) against documentationReporting shortages to lead and coordinating with purchasing personnel to resolve with the vendorSafely packaging product according to work instructionsStaging and loading outbound packages/crates as requiredPerforming periodic warehouse inventory counts to validate inventory levelsPicking, pulling, putting away, and delivering items per transfer ordersPerforming accurate real-time transactions in SAP & SharePointDelivering mail and product to designated locationsPerforming miscellaneous material handling activities including reorganizing, repackaging, consolidation, cleanup, or as instructedRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentAt least twelve (12) months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceForklift certification is preferredPossession of a valid driver's license or privilege by date of employment and thereafter, maintaining good standingCurrent CDL license preferred, including compliance with all DOT regulations and medical certification standardsFrequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 poundsOccasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicalsWorking environment may be loudAdherence to customer safety procedures including personal protective equipment (hardhat, safety glasses, goggles, hearing and fall protection)Ability to work over scheduled 8-hour shifts and weekends based on business needsCompliance with all safety policies and procedures, reporting unsafe activitiesSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
