Job description
Job Title: Material Coordinator
City and State: Marengo, IL
Pay Rate: $17.50/hour (potential for overtime)
Schedule/Shift: 1st Shift, 5:00 AM start time
Employment Type: Temp
Summary: The Material Coordinator is responsible for supporting production by ensuring materials are available, properly stocked, and accurately managed. This role requires forklift experience, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
Responsibilities
Control production materials to ensure timely delivery and support production schedules
Maintain and stock appropriate levels of assigned materials
Unload incoming materials and audit for accuracy
Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth material flow and operations
Qualifications
At least 1 year of Material Handler experience
Experience operating a sit-down forklift
Shipping and receiving experience
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
