Description

A qualified Material Handler/Forklift Operator will be able to the perform the following tasks:

* Move and wrap material from bindery and press-room and stack them to assigned places

* Locate material on shipping manifest to load unto outgoing trailers.

* Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.

* Transport raw materials to production department

* Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and report any issues to manager

* Comply with company policies and legal guidelines

* Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facility

Requirements

The Material Handler/Forklift Operator should meet the following requirements:

* Qualified candidates will be able to work 8, 10 or 12 hours and work weekends as well on an as needed basis.

* Previous experience as a forklift operator

* Safety and Quality minded

* Should be able to work with minimal supervision and be an individual contributor

* Must be reliable and consistently at work and on time

* Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines

* Must have positive and effective communication with other team members
