Wavepoint Cold Storage is looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our warehouse team!
What You’ll Do
As a Material Handler, you will help keep our operation running safely and efficiently by:
Operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
Loading and unloading trailers and railcars
Picking and preparing customer orders
Moving, stacking, and storing product
Checking product quantities, lot numbers, temperatures, and dates
Assisting with inventory and stock rotation
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
FREEZER ENVIRONMENT
This position will spend most of the workday working inside a freezer. Candidates must be comfortable working in freezer enviroment for extended periods of time and wearing required cold-weather PPE.
Requirements:
What We’re Looking For
Ability to work in a freezer environment for most of the workday, including temperatures below zero
Forklift experience required
Ability to safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts
Strong attention to detail
Good communication and basic math skills
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
Ability to work various shifts and schedules
Physical Requirements
Candidates must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift throughout the workday and safely perform work in a freezer environment.
