Liquibox Material HandlerNight Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM Rotating Shift Schedule Shift Premium Amount: $2.00 Pay Rate: $18.00Position OverviewThe Liquibox Material Handler will safely perform the necessary tasks to produce quality products in a timely basis.Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesFollow a pre-defined schedule for job specific requirementsAllocate materials for production floorHandle finished product including boxing, labelling, and palletizingSet-up and maintain material drying and conveying equipmentSet-up any auxiliary equipmentEnsure proactive safety is a first propriety in all tasksCommunicate timely any concerns regarding materials, maintenance, second operations or quality to appropriate personnelPerform good housekeeping within work area and ensure cleanlinessGenerate and control manufacturing reportingParticipate in Liquibox training programsProvide plant wide supportCompetency StatementsAbility to actively attend to, convey and understand the comments and questions of other verbally and with documentationInterpersonal – Ability to get along well with a variety of personalities and individualsAccountability – Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actionsAbility to train others in aspects of complianceEthical – Ability to demonstrate conduct conforming to a set values and accepted standardsCustomer Focus – dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customersProductive work habits – organized, sets appropriate objectives and priorities, Follows through Gain a comprehensive understanding of company control systemsQualifications• High school Diploma, GED or equivalent experience• Previous experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred• Strong organizational and communication skills• Proficient mechanical aptitude• Team player• Candidates must be able to lift up to 60-lbs.Work EnvironmentManufacturing Plant.
