Job description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Material Handler to support warehouse operations by moving, organizing, and distributing bakery products in a cold storage environment. This role requires operating powered industrial equipment and working in a walk-in freezer for extended periods.
Responsibilities:
Operate cherry picker, reach truck, and pallet jack safely and efficiently
Move, load, and unload bakery products throughout the warehouse
Pick, stage, and organize orders according to work instructions
Work in a walk-in freezer and cold storage environment for extended periods
Maintain accurate inventory handling and product placement
Inspect equipment before use and report any safety concerns
Follow all safety procedures and warehouse guidelines
Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications:
Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred
Experience operating cherry picker, reach truck, and pallet jack preferred
Ability to work in cold/freezer environments for long periods
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order handling
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
