Job description
We are currently looking for a precise Material Analyst to become part of a premier manufacturing facility for a long-term engagement. This position provides a compensation range of $30 to $34 per hour , based on your background, and operates on a consistent Monday through Friday shift from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Core Responsibilities
Verify the accuracy of quotes provided by suppliers.
Assist in the processing and management of purchase orders.
Ensure the integrity of material master data records.
Evaluate Bill of Materials (BOM) costs to help optimize overall project spending.
Facilitate procurement operations to ensure seamless supply chain flow.
Engage with external vendors to maintain strong professional relationships.
Track key performance indicators to help the team meet operational goals.
Partner with internal departments such as Engineering, Finance, Program Management, and Supply Chain to drive cross-functional success.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Proficiency in advanced Excel functions including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, IF statements, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, SUMPRODUCT, nested formulas, and Power Query.
Background in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, inventory control, material analysis, or industrial manufacturing settings.
Strong analytical mindset to help identify and resolve complex data discrepancies.
High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all reporting.
Excellent communication abilities to foster collaboration across departments.
Prior experience working with ERP software systems.
