Job description

Material Movement CoordinatorSeeking a Material Movement Coordinator to join a Pharmaceutical company in Southern New Jersey.The incumbent provides overall administrative support to the production department. Interacts with key departments to ensure the flow of Batch Log Records and additional documentation are collected, reviewed, tracked, and processed to the correct area. The incumbent is responsible for operation and administration of the SAP system in Production and Wastewater departments. The incumbent enters all raw material inventory usage tickets into SAP; compiles data for trending of batch histories; acts as liaison to the Quality and Logistics departments to ensure the release/approval and delivery of intermediates and raw materials for use in further processing. The incumbent books batches, requests raw materials, and coordinates materials movement for production related operations as well as reconciles manufacturing orders.Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Organizes and files all pertinent production documents.Orders supplies from the warehouse for production.Manages the workflow of Batch Log Records, Dryer Log Records, and Cleaning Log Records through production.Assembles batch packages for efficient execution of production records including WINLIMS/LabWare (QC) labels used for sampling.Sets up recipes for batch production.Enters all raw material usage data for production and wastewater into SAP.Orders all raw materials/intermediates from the warehouse for use in batch processing.Reconciles manufacturing orders.Must go into production plant to inventory materials, track documentation, interact with operators and shift supervisors.Enters data in the SAP database.Administers Production Yield Database.Adheres to personal moral, ethical, legal, and behavioral conduct in compliance.Adheres to all applicable SHE and cGMP regulations.Education and Experience:Chemistry background or 2+ years of experience working in an API or pharmaceutical production plant preferred.Must be proficient in MS Office, MS Excel and SAP.Other Requirements:Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.Must be very conscientious and detail-oriented.Must be able to work efficiently with people of all levels and cultures.Must be a team player.Must be a self-starter and initiator.Must be able to manage projects and prioritize appropriately.Only local candidates will be considered.
