Nurse Director – Maternal Child Health | San Jose, CA | Full-Time, Onsite
Seeking an experienced Nurse Director to oversee Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Maternal Child Health services in a 24/7 acute care setting. This leader will ensure high-quality care, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and strong operational performance across multiple units.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Maternal Child Health units, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care.
Oversee staffing, budgeting, resource allocation, and daily operations.
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and TJC standards.
Drive quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives.
Partner with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care.
Recruit, develop, and mentor nursing staff to support professional growth.
Use data-driven strategies to improve outcomes and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
CA RN license and BLS required.
Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
7+ years of clinical experience and 2+ years of leadership experience.
Experience in Maternal Child Health preferred; NE-BC/NEA-BC a plus.
