Job description
Position
Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Physician – Locum Tenens Support
Start Date & Pay Rate
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: $325.92 – $352.80 per hour
Schedule
Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (8‑hour clinic days) in inpatient and outpatient clinic settings
Occasional night and weekend call limited to phone consults (approximately one call per night, if any) with a 30‑minute response time
Scope of Practice
Maternal‑Fetal Medicine (high‑risk obstetrics, consultations, and prenatal care)
Credentialing & Licensure
Credentialing time: approximately 30 days for temporary privileges; 60–90 days for full credentialing, depending on background
Electronic Medical Record: Epic
Certifications Required: Board Certified
Licensure Required: Wisconsin license preferred or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) accepted
Location
Wausau, Wisconsin – located on the Wisconsin River with surrounding woods, lakes, and hills, offering outdoor recreation and local cultural amenities.
