Physician Maternal-Fetal Medicine Location: Albany, New York
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary $400,000 $525,000 annually (based on experience, academic rank, and qualifications) with potential productivity and quality incentive bonuses. Job Summary We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) Physician to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing exceptional care for high-risk pregnancies. This position offers the opportunity to manage complex maternal and fetal conditions while working alongside experienced OB/GYN physicians, neonatologists, genetic counselors, sonographers, and advanced practice providers.
Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive consultation and management for high-risk obstetric patients.
Perform and interpret advanced obstetric ultrasound examinations.
Conduct fetal diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling (CVS), when appropriate.
Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatologists, pediatric specialists, and other multidisciplinary teams to optimize maternal and fetal outcomes.
Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with maternal medical disorders, fetal anomalies, and multiple gestations.
Participate in inpatient consultations, outpatient clinics, and call coverage.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation using the electronic medical record (EMR).
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical research, and educational activities, if desired.
Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Fellowship training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
Eligible for New York medical licensure.
Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.
