nThe Opportunity:
nAs a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser , you’ll grow Mattel’s presence at major retailers, working up to 30 hours per week (with extra hours during the exciting holiday season). We are looking for team members who are passionate about merchandising, enjoy interacting with customers & store management, and want to drive results!

nWhat Your Impact Will Be:
nnBuild strong relationships with store teams
nBrand ambassador of Mattel/FP Brands and products
nSecure prime product placements for Mattel’s iconic brands
nUnpack cases of various Mattel toys
nMerchandise and organize product on the sales floor
nConstruct & deconstruct store fixtures including shelving and racking
nImplement Point of Purchase materials
nExecute special projects as assigned including, but not limited to Store Events
nComplete reports as necessary including store surveys
nTrain & lead team associates
nProvide real-time business insights
nAdministrative tasks including but not limited to managing expenses, attending meetings, trainings, checking email etc.

nWhat We’re Looking For:
nBasic Job Qualifications:
nnMust be at least 18 years old
nHigh school diploma or GED, some college preferred
nAvailable to work daytime hours during the week; occasional required weekends
nAccess to reliable internet access
nMust have reliable transportation to travel to between assigned store locations
nReside within approximately 20 miles of Austin, TX 78728 to reliably service the assigned territory
n nPhysical Requirements:
nnStand, bend, twist, squat, kneel, reach
nWalk for long periods of time
nClimb ladders up to 12’ tall
nLift up to 25 pounds frequently, 50 pounds occasionally
nPush/pull carts containing product - occasionally up to 100 lbs
nOperate power tools (screwdriver & drill)
n nAbout You:
nnMerchandising experience (preferred, but not required)
nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently
nDevelop strong relationships through effective communication and negotiation skills
nRepresent the brand with professionalism and a positive attitude
nAbility to prioritize work with strong time management and a sense of urgency
nSelf-motived with a strong bias for action by making resourceful decisions
nEagerness to learn new skills with a safety-first mentality
nTech-savvy (Microsoft Office, iPads and apps)

nThe base hourly rate for this position is between $19.00 and $22.00.
n*The pay range is indicative of projected hiring range, however base pay will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
