The hospitals have received multiple quality awards including Leapfrog "A" ratings for patient safety; Healthgrades recognition for orthopedic surgery, treatment of stroke, heart care, various surgical procedures, and more.ResponsibilitiesMobility Assistance Vehicle Technicians (MAVTs) are responsible for transporting private patients and patients from skilled nursing facilities and assisted living facilities who are wheelchair bound or who are ambulatory but need assistance via devices. MAVTs are responsible for the safe transport and care of these patients throughout the duration of an appointment, doctor's office, dialysis treatments, physical therapy and/or other medically needed reasons.QualificationsEducation and Work ExperienceCurrent and valid Mobility Assistance Vehicle Technician certificationCurrent and valid Healthcare Provider BLS CPR cardValid Driver's LicenseCEVO certification must obtain within 3 months of hire and renew in 3 year periodHigh School Diploma or EquivalencyPrevious experience as an MAVT in preferredMust have a good driving history within the past 3 yearsPay TransparencySaint Clare's Health offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $18.28/Hr.
