Job description
Maximo Security Analyst role focused on defining security requirements, building secure Maximo configurations, and supporting enterprise Maximo environments.
Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, technical, and security requirements for Maximo solutions.
Translate business needs into secure Maximo configurations using process analysis, workflow design, and system setup.
Design, develop, and administer complex Maximo security models, including roles, groups, permissions, and access controls.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to deliver enhancements, projects, integrations, and support initiatives.
Provide mentoring, guidance, and knowledge transfer to business analysts and project team members.
Lead stakeholder workshops and requirements sessions to gather, refine, and validate business needs.
Support technology investment planning, budgeting, and prioritization to improve business value and operational efficiency.
Partner with business and IT leadership to align Maximo strategy, roadmaps, and technology investments with organizational goals.
Apply Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies across Maximo implementations, upgrades, and modernization efforts.
Create business cases, process documentation, security designs, governance standards, and other key project deliverables.
Troubleshoot enterprise-scale Maximo application, security, and data issues.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce licensing costs while ensuring stable, secure operations.
Requirements
5 years of experience managing users and security within Maximo and/or Maximo Application Suite (MAS).
2 years of experience using SQL for data analysis.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business, or related field of study.
Alternative education/experience paths (if applicable): Associate's degree in computer science or related field, plus 2 years of relevant work experience.
High school diploma or GED, plus 4 years of relevant work experience.
In addition to the experience required above, 7 years of relevant work experience is required.
