Job description
Preferred Care at Mercer is seeking a qualified MDS Coordinator for a full time position. We are a beautiful facility with a great culture and work environment. We are offering excellent pay commensurate with an applicant’s experience.
Responsibilities:
Management and completion of the RAI process targeting reimbursement and quality.
Coordinate and integrate information from nursing, dietary, social services, restorative, rehabilitation, and physician services to ensure substantiated reimbursement.
Tracking of all Medicare/Managed Medicare/CommercialMDS and conduct weekly utilization reviews.
Schedule and completion of the OBRA assessments

Experience required
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Current/active nursing licensure.
PriorMDS /RAI experience.
Knowledge of Medicare regulations and coverage guidelines as related to skilled nursing
Management& leadership skills
Detail oriented & thorough
