Job Summary
Seeking a Data Scientist to design scalable data pipelines, automate reporting processes, and develop reusable Python-based data solutions
The successful candidate will support incremental and batch data ingestion, data transformation, validation, modeling, and dashboard automation
Primary Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) workflows
Develop incremental and batch data‑ingestion processes
Implement robust data validation and quality‑control procedures
Perform data transformation and modeling using SQL and Python
Preprocess, minimize, filter, normalize, aggregate, and reshape datasets for reporting
Develop automated reporting workflows and dashboards
Build and maintain reusable Python automation packages for agency personnel
Document data pipelines, automation processes, and technical procedures
Required Qualifications
Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience, Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience, Associate's degree with 10 years of in-depth relevant experience that is clearly related to the position
Experience designing and implementing ETL workflows
Experience with data transformation, validation, and modeling
Experience preprocessing and preparing datasets for reporting
Desired Qualifications
Experience with Pandas, PySpark, or Polars
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar dashboard platforms
Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

Salary Information
The pay range for this role is: 135,000 - 180,000 USD per year(Ft. Meade MD)
