Job description
Meat Department Associate - Part-TimeWeigh, wrap and price meats and related productsPortion and place products on designated trays with the highest standards of presentationDisplay product in cases as directed by managerKeep track of the need for wrapping materials, labels, etc.Maintain equipment. Communicate temperature failure of cases to managerMaintain good housekeeping of work, display and storage areasProvide prompt and courteous service to customersFollow all company policiesObserve all state health regulations and all safe food handling proceduresPerform other duties as assigned by managementMinimal computer skills or minimal knowledge of computerized digital scalesStand on feet, bend forward, stoop or walk for the majority of the time on dutyWork in freezer and/or cooler for short periods of timeWork in cool area for extended periods of timeLift, push or pull cases/containers of product up to 50 poundsMust be available to work 30-39 hours per weekPT Benefits for Associates working 30+ hours per week:Medical / Vision / PrescriptionDental401K with Company matchPaid Vacation / HolidaysCompany paid Life InsuranceCompany paid Short Term DisabilityVoluntary Benefits Available20% Employee discount
