Meat Processing AssociateWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Meat Processing Associate to join our production team. This role is responsible for preparing, processing, and packaging meat products, including sausage making, grinding burgers, and producing company-branded items. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, follows strict food safety standards, and takes pride in producing high-quality products.ResponsibilitiesOperate meat processing equipment such as grinders, mixers, and sausage stuffersPrepare and grind meats according to production specificationsMeasure, mix, and season ingredients for sausage and other productsProduce and package company-branded meat products following recipes and quality standardsMaintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, tools, and equipmentFollow all food safety, USDA, and company regulationsMonitor product quality and report any inconsistencies or issuesWork collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goalsQualificationsPrevious experience in meat processing, butchery, or food production preferred (not required)Ability to safely operate processing equipmentStrong attention to detail and consistencyAbility to work in a cold environment for extended periodsPhysical ability to lift 40–60 lbs and stand for long periodsCommitment to food safety and hygiene standardsReliable attendance and strong work ethicCompensation $20 hourly About Weaver's of WellsvilleWeaver's of Wellsville is a fifth-generation, family-owned provisions company based in Pennsylvania's Susquehanna Valley, built on a tradition of quality and craftsmanship.Today, the business operates across three divisions: a manufacturing operation producing smoked meats like sweet bologna, beef sticks, and sausages; a food distribution network supplying retailers across a seven-state region with a wide range of products, including meats, cheeses, baked goods, seafood, and specialty grocery items; and a retail butcher shop offering fresh cuts, house-made specialties, and a direct-to-customer experience.Additionally, Weaver's of Wellsville owns Locals' Market, a specialty grocer in Dillsburg, PA.
