MOBILE
MECHANIC
. This position will service a variety of quarry equipment and construction equipment throughout the Middle Tennessee market.
Full Time
Day Shift
Overtime available and extensive medical and retirement benefits.
This role requires significant previous experience as a mechanic working on heavy equipment.
The role will be responsible for performing repairs, routine maintenance, and inspections on a wide variety of quarry and construction equipment and trucks.
The applicant must have a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair a wide range of service issues that affect major components such as engines, brake systems, transmissions, torque converters, hydraulic systems, drive train components, heating/cooling and electrical systems, as well as other systems generally encountered in the industry.
Minimum of three year of experience working on heavy equipment.
Perform heavy or major maintenance repairs as needed.
Perform routine scheduled maintenance on heavy equipment and trucks.
Complete maintenance and work order repair records.
Heavy equipment parts familiarization including parts catalogs, procurement, handling, storage, and cost of heavy equipment parts.
Perform housekeeping duties and work area checks.
Ability to operate mobile equipment.
Operate a company vehicle on public highways and job sites.
Capable of working with limited supervision and scheduling own work.
Weekend work/overtime may be required.
