Mechanic | 7:00AM - 3:30PM | Monday - Friday | $20.00 - $22.00/hr
An Automotive Mechanic is needed for the repair and maintenance of fleet vehicles for a Macon County municipality.
Job Requirements for Mechanic
Knowledge and practical experience in basic vehicle maintenance (oil changes, brakes, tires)
Ability to diagnosis vehicle problems is a plus
Valid driver's license
Job Responsibilities Mechanic Perform preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles (cars, small trucks, snowplows, dump trucks)
Perform oil changes
Replace brakes and tires
Complete work order documentation
Fuel vehicles
Order parts
