Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities, pays close attention to detail, and is committed to providing safe, high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and preventive services, including oil changes, brake inspections, fluid services, and tune-ups.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic equipment and manufacturer procedures.
Perform repairs involving engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, brakes, HVAC, electrical systems, and other vehicle components.
Conduct vehicle inspections and identify necessary repairs or potential safety concerns.
Accurately document inspections, diagnoses, repairs, parts, and labor performed.
Use shop equipment, hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and correctly.
Follow manufacturer specifications, repair procedures, and applicable safety standards.
Communicate repair findings and recommendations to service advisors, managers, and/or customers.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Complete assigned work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
Perform road tests when appropriate to verify repairs.
Stay current with automotive technology, diagnostic procedures, and repair techniques.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Atleast 2+ years of automotive repair experience
Strong knowledge of automotive mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to diagnose vehicle problems accurately and efficiently.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Ability to use automotive diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to safely lift, move, and handle automotive components and equipment.
