Mechanic - Water Treatment Facility
Onsite - The Villages, FL
Pay: $24/hr
Our client is seeking a Mechanic to support maintenance operations at a water treatment facility in The Villages, FL. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with mechanical experience who thrives in a team-oriented, operational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on water treatment plants and related equipment
Maintain buildings, structures, grounds, machinery, and facility systems
Inspect, lubricate, and troubleshoot equipment to identify and resolve issues
Replace packing in pumps and valves
Replace bearings in motors, pumps, and other mechanical equipment
Support uninterrupted facility operations through efficient maintenance practices
Collaborate with team members to address maintenance challenges and improve performance
Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED
Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance and repair
Valid driver's license with no major infractions
